This is the boss fight theme from 2006's Blue Dragon, an RPG in the vein of the Dragon Quest series that features the music of legendary videogame composer Nobuo Uematsu and character design by Dragon Ball manga artist Akira Toriyama. Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy and amateur musician, wrote the story and also the lyrics to this song; Ian Gillan of Deep Purple sings...

No relation to the Ralph Fiennes Silence of the Lambs prequel or any similarly named properties.

I played some of Blue Dragon (which I wish they would port...) and mainly remember there being only one fight theme, that played over and over for every single battle:

So I guess I didn't get to any bosses, or maybe just one...cause this song never entered my mind until this week when I heard it again used as a boss theme in Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, 2008's bootleg RPG-sequel to NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley's 1994 arcade basketball game Barkley Shut Up and Jam! and 1996's Space Jam. Which is very good (haven't seen Lebron's sequel for comparison yet) - and whose title screen has got this phenomenal mash-up of Quad-City DJ's Space Jam theme and a number by Swedish House Mafia's Axwell:

"Eternity" is good for a pump-up, to be sure. Regrettably it's not on Spotify at the time of writing, or through official channels on YouTube...perhaps one day, when Blue Dragon is remastered for PC and Barkley: Gaiden gets its sequel. But until then, here's one more Barkley jam for the road:
